About
Elisabeth Ashby is a dynamic, character-driven actor with over 20 years of experience onstage, on camera, and behind the mic. Born in Syracuse, NY, Elisabeth studied theatre at SUNY New Paltz. She has worked as a standardized patient, costume designer, puppet technician, and teaching artist, all while tackling roles in productions ranging from musicals to children’s theatre to Shakespeare. She has a strong ear for accents, a great facility with character voices, and is known for her comedic timing and skill with dry, snarky humor. Very much at home in some of the darker corners of the literary world, Elisabeth is drawn to books in the horror, sci-fi, fantasy, non-fiction, and mystery/thriller genres, and she’s always up for sinking her teeth into a long epic or series. Her credits include titles by indie favorites Melissa Good and R. D. Brady as well as NYT bestselling author Delilah S. Dawson, and she is always on the lookout for a new weird, wild, and wonderful story to tell!
